GCE A-level Programme

Foundation
College is offering GCE A-levels as a Cambridge International Examinations Centre since September 2008 and as an Edexcel Examinations Centre since December 2010. The GCE programme targets ambitious high school students who aspire to gain admission to the top British Universities or one of UK's medical and dental schools.

GCE A-levels are English pre-university qualifications which most English students complete to gain admission to university. Foundation College is now an examinations centre for both Cambridge and Edexcel and is offering courses for a number of these prestigious qualifications. GCE A-levels will interest ambitious and hard-working students who wish to earn a strong university admission qualification which is more effective than the IB in securing entry at UK universities.

We are currently offering one-year courses in the following subjects:

A-level Mathematics (Edexcel and Cambridge)

A-level Economics (Edexcel)

A-level Physics (Edexcel and Cambridge)

A-level Chemistry (Edexcel and Cambridge)

A-level Biology (Edexcel and Cambridge)

A-level Further Mathematics (Edexcel and Cambridge)

A-level Greek (Edexcel)

The GCE A-level programme is taught at the Athens Site over a 32 week period starting around 20 September each year. Classes start at 4 pm and the courseload is between 4 and 6 teaching hours per subject per week. Class schedule is finalised in early September each year. Tuition fees are 3200 Euro per subject per annum.
